Siluer dew-dropi upon green-gold leaues, Gliding siluer of ferny reed, that in the water tDeaaes Shafts ol silaer ligbt, Fading with fantasies of the night. Gyeen of the dewy ernerald glowing with mysterious fire, S'hadowy green of mossy grottos filled with music of thi lyre. Delicate drops of quiet delight, Cast from spells of the siluer night. Blue of the heauens lilled deep with eternal peace, Sapphire blue of the restless ocean neuer to cease \ Flashing in uapoars of haze, rningling blue with goild, And blended with dreams of ft,ew and otd. Gold of the santis on the siluer shore, Molteru gold of the ocean at 'sunset and et)en more Thoughts of sold that dawn with quiet calm, As does the beginning of a Holy psalm.

THE OI,D BOAT IN THE HARBOUR There's an old boat iru the /tarbour, On nhom fisherruen and their sons, Haue brought tbe daily catch home But her days are numbered ones. She languishes there, sad and forlom, A boat who's had her day. A boat who now is past her prime, Left in squalor to decay, But she has memories locked atDay, When she rode so gallantly, When she fousht against the wind and rain And the turmoil of the sea,. Now she lies, scarred, battered and u)orn, Like one who has lost a race. A boat wbase prime is a thing of the past, For another boat takes ber place.
