Choir. We would like to extend our sincerest thanks to Miss Frederick. Any success we have achieved is due to her training, hard work and patience. She has converted an unruly group of budding singers into an enthusiastic, well-organized choir who enjoy their work. We look forward to· another interesting year in 1967. -C.G., A.H. FOLK CLUB NOTES For the first time in the School there 1s a Folk Club. Started only this year, the Club has been remarkably popular throughout the School with VI, V and Junior School Clubs. The money collected for the VI Form Club will go towards books for the other Folk Clubs. We hope these will continue in popularity. _ G.J:, G.K. I.S.C.F. NOTES Our Inter-School Christian Fellowship group has met each Friday lunch-hour in IIIC and we sincerely thank Mrs . McDon- ald for the use of this room. We are grateful for the short talks and guidance of Miss M. Pigram, our leader. Many of the girls have led the meetings either in discussions or in addresses and this has proved to be very successful. Our meetings have also been led by several guest speakers including two Old Girls, Betth Nicholson and Heather Lind, Miss Stewart, a missionary in New Guinea, and Mr. Groome. Our thanks go to them for such in- teresting talks . This year our team gained second place in the annual Swim- ming Carnival. Other activities included camps, conferences, a science weekend and a badge presentation day on which badges were presented to new members . The attendance 1 this year has not been very good and we ex- tend a welcome to any who would like to attend I.S.C.F . meet- ings. Our prayers are that our numbers may be increased next year and that we may be strengthened and guided in our Christian faith and lives. - N.W., vi s S.C.M. This year the Student Christian Movement has continued to grow, with the addition of Fourth Form members. On May 10th we enjoyed the fellowship of Senior students from Kelvin Grove State High School and Brisbane Grammar School at an Inter-School Conference held in the gym. The 45
