DEATHS Our sympathy goes to the relatives of the following Old Girls:- Mrs. Sabina Meyers (Lenneberg) who was one of the earliest pupils of the B,-,G.G.S. She was born in 1866 in a 0 ottage on the site of the present Bnsbane Te legraph" building. Miss Betty Stewart, an original member of the O.G.A. who passed away. in June of this year. Those who were fortunate to see Betty and h~r ~1sten Jean at Old Girls ' Day in April will never forget them. Old G1rls funct1ons will never be just the same without either of the Misses Stewart, I feel sure. Winsome Gregory (McGhie) who passed away in September. Our sympathy is also extended to relatives of Madame Smikoff who was French mistress at school for the past twenty-three years. ' GENERAL INFORMATION . The Annual General Meeting will be held in the School Hall on Fnday, February lith, .at 7.45 p.m. All girls leaving school are cordially mv1ted to attend and JOin the Association. The debutante list for 1955 will be opened at this meeting and only the first twenty will be accepted. In conclusion, . I invite. members to send to me any suggestions that may be helpful m bn~gmg the Association more prominently under the not1ce of those Old G1rls of every age who might otherwise be inclined to adopt the attitude of mere onlookers.
