Booth Bookings

Book-a-booth or the Rapunzel balcony

It is advisable to make bookings ahead of time. Email the Circulation Desk to request a time slot. These booking requests should be made the school day before the booth is required. Students must supply their names and House Groups and the time slot required. No student will be permitted to make multiple bookings for a complete week as this prevents equity of access. Group bookings take precedence over a booking for a single student. Users may also call in person at the Circulation Desk to make a booking. A specific booth may be requested and the staff will attempt to meet each request. The booths are numbered B1 to B3 from the circulation desk side to the Gregory Terrace side.

The “pseudo-booths” [the two tables next to the booths] and the “Rapunzel” balcony off L2.01 may also be booked. Three students only in the balcony space.

A maximum of 7 students may use a booth at the one time. The connectors for accessing the screens in the booths are available for borrowing from the circulation desk, if required. Time slots available: mornings any time between 7.00am and 8.20am; lunchtime, between 3.10pm and 5.00pm; between 5.00p. and 8.00pm for evening study sessions. Students on spares or standdown may book lesson times but for no longer than a double period in each case and any class booking will take precedence . If the students who have booked the space do not arrive within 15 minutes of the booking time, the reservation will be voided. If no bookings have been made, booths are available to casual users.
