We sang a beautiful Ten- dinon of 'Bright Eyes' which was arranged by Margaret Robin, who also wrote an accompanying Flute part. on sirated our amazing talent and determination by taking second place in the Lt. Col. Plant Challenge Cup for individtial events, second . placing in the relays and third place overall, a brilliant achievement. A special mention must go to Sonia White who again dominated the pool and took out the Year Nine Championship. On the seventeenth and eighteenth of March the Interhouse Drama Competition took place After weeks of rehearsals, the Eagles were ^eady . to sirLit then' stuff on the stage. Our budding acnesses performed outstandingly on the night and Kaniy Henry captured the hearts of the auclience in her role as 'Hamish'. The play
tillon was yet another arena in which the Eagles could demonstrate their skill. With An son Manvell, a member of the School's National Gymnastics team, as our proficient leader, England attained third place in both the Rhythmic and Artistic sections, achieving an overall fourth position An Interhouse Basketball Challenge was put foiward this year by Shiona Watson and Caroline Astley. The Eagles put in an amazing effort to win all games except for the final against Woolcock, who won by only one goal it must, however, be noted that Woolcock had a bit of help: a French boy!!!
