OLD GIRLS/ALTJMNI
THE ANNUAL CGA YOUNG WOMEN'S FORUM, was held in May at the School in conjunction with the National Council of Women OLD (NCWO) Ably chaired by Stephanie Carter (2007) from the NCWO, the forum showcased the experiences of four passionate young women, including Managing Director of the Ashintosh Foundation Rebecca Conrick (Service Captain 2009), and President of Towards International Medical Equality Bethany Holt (2009) at The lJniversity of Oueensland. Both Grammar Women have pursued medical careers since graduation and their aspirations have flourished from participation in a range of service activities which began at the School The audience left feeling inspired and with an enhanced appreciation of community service, and the importance of pursuing one's passions.

CATHY MTLLTKEN (1-973) Cathy compieted her Music degree at the Oueensland Conservatorium of Music majoring in performance (piano and oboe). She continued her oboe studies in Europe under Fleinz Holliger and Maurice Bourgue while also pursuing full-time study of the Dalcroze Method of teaching music with a resulting Diploma. Catherine lives in Berlin as a freelance composer, performer, creative director and educational consuitant and is currently in Cape Town

LUTSA RYAN (1,997) Each year The University of Oueensland celebrates the diverse achievements of their alumni with a suite of aiumni awards. Luisa received a 201,4 Distinguished Young Alumni Award in recognition of young alumni (35 years or younger) whose early accomplishments inspire and provide leadership to students and all aiumni. Luisa received the award for her humanitarian and development work since graduation - she currently works for the tlN peacekeeping mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
ALr PH TLLtPS (2008) In 2009, Ali began her own business leveraging her skills in dance to create an inclusive dance troop for teens and young adults with special needs - 'gus1 A Move Dance'. Ali has successfully blended her passion for dance, her skills in performance and her awareness of inclusive communities to build a fulfllling and inspiring career as a dance teacher. Bust A Move Dance is Brisbane's flrst inclusive dance programme for teens and young adults with disabilities, and their most significant performance to date has been at the Special Olympics Asia Pacific Games Opening Ceremony in front of 40,000 people.
