Assignment Borrowing- Staff

The Head of Department will inform the Library Assistant of the specific borrowing requirements before the start of a new unit of work and an outline of these requirements will be displayed at the circulation desk. Any number of resources or borrowing times can be accommodated: for, example, • No borrowing of books or DVDs for the duration of the assignment. • No books or DVDs to be borrowed during the school week for the first two weeks of the assignment. Thereafter, one book per night per student but DVDs only on weekends. • One book overnight [or the weekend] for an individual student. Overnight loans must be returned before first lesson on the following school day. • Two books allowed overnight. • One book for two nights with return before period 1 on the designated day of return. • On weekends, up to two books and one DVD per student. • DVDs only to be borrowed on weekends. • Up to three books and one DVD per student over a weekend. These arrangements are totally a decision of the Head of Department and the Library assistant will keep a collated list for each term at the circulation workstation.
