YEAR 12 Formal

The Year 12 Formal was a night to remember! The 2024 Formal was held at City Hall on 27 April and was themed, Midsummer Night’s Dream . We delved into our knowledge of the great Shakespearian play from our Year 8 English studies to dress the hall with decorations that we felt put a modern and quirky twist on Puck’s whimsical world. These included two spectacular trees (adorned in fairy lights), antique looking candelabras, and disco balls. The night began with professional photos and delicious food, and ended with everyone enthusiastically tearing up the dance floor, which was certainly the highlight for many. It was great to step away from the busy life of Year 12 to simply enjoy each other’s company and make memories that we sure will look back on fondly. The committee worked with Ms Sarah Boyle, Mrs Raechelle Finch and Mrs Waters, to bring our vision to life. We thank them for their encouragement, guidance and support throughout Term 1 to make it a truly memorable evening.
