YEAR 12 FORMAL What a beautiful night the Year 12 Formal was! The Brisbane Girls Grammar School Formal for the class of 2023 was held in the City Hall on Saturday 29 April. With a theme of ‘Night in the Museum’, the elegant and fitting decorations accented the intricate detailing in the City Hall perfectly. With decorations such as Egyptian pharaohs and the Mona Lisa, it was so wonderful to see our excited and energetic grade appreciating the effort and hard work that was put into making the night such a success. Our committee worked with Ms Boyle, Mrs Thomas, and Mrs Waters, along with IT, Facilities, and Communications and Engagement to design our vision and make our certainly ambitious plans come to life. A massive thank you is extended to all the staff involved. The night began with professional photos, continued with delicious meals, and ended with plenty of enthusiastic dancing. A pause from the busy life of Year 12, the evening was a perfect way to reignite the close bonds between everyone in the grade and take a step back to simply enjoy our time together. We hope our year level created memories that will last long after our years at BGGS! It was most certainly a night to remember.
