I n this year, which has necessitated so much adaption and change, we were delighted to still be able to attend our Year 12 Formal. The event was a spectacular evening that truly lived up to its theme, ‘Euphoria’. The Formal was held on Friday 4 September and in the lead up to the event we worked hard to coordinate invitations, menus, table fittings, entertainment and seating allocations. Cherry blossoms were chosen as the main feature for the Euphoria theme, along with a colour palette of baby pink, purple and blue. COVID-19 event restrictions were constantly changing, which meant organising the seating plan was a challenge, but we got there in the end! On the night, to overcome the restrictions on dancing the Bi-Grammar Committee and Mr Fogarty assisted us in hosting a trivia competition, which was lots of fun. The Formal Committee cannot thank Mrs Lowry and Ms Boyle enough for allowing us to have such a terrific evening—it will be a senior memory every Year 12 girl treasures.
