THE YEAR WHERE THE WORLD LOVED BIG Isabel Stephens (10M), winner of the Junior Merle Weaver competition, reflects on the power of humanity in overcoming crises. THE GOOD FIGHT: EXPLORING THE ROLE OF GEN Z IN EARTH’S NEWEST WAR In her Senior Merle Weaver Speech, Madeleine Pryde (12E), argues that corruption, power and ignorance are the greatest enemies of climate change. NOTES OF HOPE Inspired to help those most affected by this year’s pandemic, Service Captains, Gia Cayas (12G) and Eva Seet (12B), created ‘Notes of Hope’. Grammar girls designed and wrote more than 500 messages to comfort those in our community experiencing hardship.
