• Amelia Stacey (2019) was offered a place to study History and Economics at Oxford University in 2020.
• Elzbieta (Ela) Noble (2019) was offered a place to study a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) at Princeton University in 2020.
• Dr Vedella (Del) Hinckley (1962) was made a Member (AM) in the General Division of the Order of Australia in the Australia Day 2020 Honours List for her significant service to medicine as a plastic and reconstructive surgeon.
• Joan Cribb (Herbert, 1946) was awarded a Medal (OAM) in the Australia Day 2020 Honours List for service to higher education as a botanist, and to the community.
• Dr Kristin Alford (Stewart, 1989) was named in Forbes list of 50 Leading Female Futurists, recognising her work in developing smart cities that offer sustainable environmental and economic solutions.
• Chloe Yap (2013) was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to undertake studies and clinical trials at the University of California, Los Angeles.
• Elena Dias-Jayasinha (2016) was the recipient of the Paula and Tony Kinnane Art History Scholarship, created to support promising students enrolled in Art History undergraduate studies at The University of Queensland.
• The exhibition ‘Two Sisters, A Singular Vision’ recognised the contributions of Margaret Mittelheuser AM (1947) and Cathryn Mittelheuser AM (1949) to the Arts.
• Kirby Short (2003) captained the Brisbane Heat Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) team to a second consecutive championship.
• Josephine Dooley (2017) signed with the Melbourne Renegades in the WBBL and played in the Governor General’s XI against India 20-over game at Sydney’s Drummoyne Oval.
• Gabriella Palm (2015) and Abby Andrews (2017) represented Australia in Water Polo in the test match series in January against the USA.
• Annika Honan (2019) was awarded a QUT/Westpac Young Technologists Scholarship.
• Immediate past Chair of the Board of Trustees, Elizabeth Jameson (Head Girl, 1982) was awarded a Member (AM) of the Order of Australia in the 2020 Queen’s Birthday Honours.
• Rear Admiral Sarah Sharkey (Chandler, 1986) was awarded a Member (AM) of the Order of Australia, in the Military Division, in the 2020 Queen’s Birthday Honours.
• Gabriella Palm (2015) and Abby Andrews (2017) were selected in the Aussie Stingers Water Polo squad.
• Josephine Auer (2015) was awarded The University of Queensland’s Graduate of the Year for 2020.
• Fiona Qiu (2017) was awarded the Queensland Conservatorium’s Ena Williams Award for Postgraduate Study Overseas; of note, this award was bequeathed by Glenda Page (Williams, 1952) in honour of her mother.
• Dell Rathbone (Oliver, 1954) won the Queensland College of Teachers Award for Outstanding Contribution to Teaching.
• Dr Wendy Page (1972) was nominated as the Northern Territory State Recipient for Australian of the Year 2021 in recognition of her work in improving Aboriginal health outcomes.
