THE DREAMING DRAGON

DRACO SOMNIANTES

The Dreaming Dragon is the fifth of 13 discovered Dragon Mechanica. Due to its light steel fibre wings, this Mechanica is able to execute tight turns and manoeuvres at high speeds while in the air. Unfortunately, the Dreaming Dragon is unable to sustain such speeds on the ground due to the tungsten plates and ribs that spread across most of the dragon’s body. Despite the disadvantages of the tungsten, this Mechanica provides great protection, allowing it to be almost unaffected by most weapons. The nickname of the Dreaming Dragon was officially given to this Mechanica by Liberty Crisp as it appeared to be the most docile of the dragons. Even though this Mechanica was named by Liberty, it is known she was not the first to discover the dragon. Supposedly, a girl called Sabre Xyem first saw the Dreaming Dragon on the Greek island of Mykonos, leading Greece to be believed as its origin. Sources state that in both encounters, the dragon was oddly friendly to the two explorers.
