WOOLCOCKWARRIORS LILY MORGAN AND LAURA MORTON HOUSE CAPTAINS

swimming the fifty metres butterfly or chanting war cries in the stands, each Woolcockatoo gave 100 per cent to show that Woolcock was a force to be reckoned with. Despite an abundance of assessment, the enthusiasm and spirit of Woolcock powered on through Term III, with delicious pancake and pastry breakfasts to fuel our energy. Open Day was once again a success with the Year 11s efficient organisation of their fairy bread stall. Monies raised from this stall as well as monies from Years 7 and 8 bake stalls have gone towards our house charity QENDO (Endometriosis Association Queensland Incorporated). Interhouse Athletics proved a huge success, with an outstanding record of attendance across all year levels leading us to an incredible first place in the all-age relay and overall third place. Our goal was to reflect the Student Council’s motto ‘Inspire your sisters old and new, 140 years in royal blue’ in Woolcock House, by promoting house spirit and unity so that every Woolcockatoo could raise her crest and be her best.

The Woolcock spirit was evident right from the beginning of first semester.

Our annual house party ensured a happy and bright start to the year, with everyone decked out in yellow to enjoy a big yellow cake, limbo and other fun games. Woolcock continued to show its dedication and enthusiasm at interhouse events such as swimming and cross country. Whether running an exhausting three kilometres,
