ANIME ALECIA KERR (12H) AND SOPHIA ANDREATIDIS (12M)

Anime Club is a cultural club which is open to all year levels and meets once a week to watch anime at lunch time. This club attracts girls who are interested in Anime, Cosplay (costume play) and K-pop. Contrary to what some may think, it is quite a raucous and exciting lunch-time activity as we laugh, cry and sometime even shout encouragement/advice at the characters. Open to all year levels, everyone is welcome to come and join us at any time throughout the year. This year we have watched Haikyuu, Amagi Brilliant Park and Children who chase lost voices from deep below . Part of what we love about Anime is the art itself, so we host an annual drawing competition which celebrates the artistic talents amongst us. In addition, each year we team up with the Digital Photography Club for a cosplay

photoshoot which allows the members of Anime Club to show off their cosplay outfits and the digital photography girls to test out their skills. To join members just have to attend the meetings as frequently as they wish.

DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB ZOE KECK (12M)

The Digital Photography Club meets every Thursday at lunchtime and includes girls from Years 7 to 12. During our meetings, we discuss photo competitions, show and receive feedback on our photos, watch video tutorials and experiment with different types of photography. In addition to our lunchtime meetings, we also engage in after school workshops and photo shoots to broaden our learning environment and lengthen the amount of time that we are able to work on various activities. In Term II the club held our annual GoMobile Competition, where girls could enter photos taken on their mobile phones. This competition was open to all year levels, with entry sections for both junior and senior grades. On Open Day, we opened the votes to the public where they could vote for their favourite junior, senior, and overall photo. The junior winner Ella Leydon (9H), senior winner Isabel Peters (10M) and the overall winner Jessica Pink (8L), received a GorillaPod tripod and a fisheye lens for their mobile phones. As well as hosting various activities and competitions throughout the year, we supported the White Cloud Foundation through funds raised at a bake stall and photo booth, a new initiative this year. Our club is open to girls in all year levels and new members are always welcome to join us.
