LILLEY LEGEND^

This year was a fast-paced and successful one for the Lilley Legends. We swam. ran, jumped, threw and cheered our way to our rightful spot as the most envied House of all! Our House Party, otherwise known as the Event of the Year, was bursting with spirit and Lilley love. with games and dancing all afternoon. We may not have been victorious in receiving the boring trophies at inter house Swimming. but we swam away with the hotly-contested teacher-student Lifesaving Relay Championship for yet another year. It's safe to say that we are the most talented lifesaving House of all time! We decided to give the other Houses a chance at winning in Inter house Cross Country, but our ability to skip. dance, jog, run and cartwheel across the finish line showed that our spirit could not be matched. Our very talented teachers, on the other hand, had no mercy. and ran laps around the competition Every grade displayed their Lilley spirit at Open Day. making and selling our famous fudge. The Grade IIS even managed to sell out in record time,

leaving devastated attendees to stoop to the lows of purchasing food from the other Houses At inter house Athletics. again we let the other Houses claim the boring trophies so that we could continue our teacher-student supremacy, with an easy win in the most important race of the day: the Teacher- Student relay. The cheers from the House and the team's rigorous preparation (team tai chi and hand clapping games before the race) can be credited for this amazing feat! Overall. the year has been amazing, and would not have been as successful without the unconditional support from our Head of House Mrs Edwards, our dedicated House Group teachers and House Prefects. We know that our Lilley legends will continue to leap above the rest in years to come
