when all you need is a laugh. Other Fridays we went up to the BBQ for a House breakfast A huge thank you to our wonderfu Head of House Mrs Boltman and all the House group teachers for their hard work and support It's been a pleasure to lead such a fantastic group of girls and a tight-knit, talented House. Gibson has been the best family we could have asked for and we'll be sad to end this purple era. but know the phantom spirit will go on
a commendable second. The girls were energetic at inter house Cross Country. and G!bson was again successful at athletics, coming second and winning the Relay Trophy. in particular, Year 11 performed outstandingly and had five girls in the final 100 metres! The Open Day Strawberries and ice Cream Stall was another success with strawberries cut up in record time. thanks to the fantastic organisation by Year 11 Every Friday morning we came together in House assembly. in this time we played games, partook in some gruelling competitions (e. g cake decorating). and watched Friends on those Friday mornings
Gibson House had yet another jam- packed and successful year. The 2013 theme was porphyrophobia - the profound fear of the colour purple. The year started with the traditional Induction of Year 8s and every girl getting a purple wristband The House Party was a fun and relaxed afternoon. consisting of the traditional showdown of Knights, Mounts and Cavaliers, a huge purple cake and grade skits The girls' spirit and Gibson pride was evident in the sea of purple O first inter house competition was the Swimming Carnival wher we unveiled our phantom masks united as Gibsonites and placed
