budding photographer. Another notable talent to mention in Hirschfetd House is Lucinda Hinckfuss 111Hl. who treated the girls to a me sinerising flute performance in Term 111 Known for our famous hot potato stall at the Schools annual Open Day. the dedicated effort of every Hirschfeld girl. House group teacher and enthusiastic parents resulted in our 2012 stall being more successfut than ever. with a massive $5,600 raised to support our House charity, the Pyjama Foundation. Special thanks must go to the Semester 2 Year I I House Group Captains. Georgia Fairbairn and Heather Hunt. whose organisation of the fundraiser made it such a huge success it has been a privilege to lead such a talented and enthusiastic House of girls as Hirschfetd Captains this year. To our fellow Year 12 Hirschfetdians, you have inspired us for five years and we have shared some utterly brilliant moments with one another. We cannot wait to see how you will continue to inspire us in the years to come
This year. our spirited Hirschfetdians dared to venture where no House has gone before. .. into the unknown territory of a Flash Mob. Set to the music of F10 Rida's Good Feeling. its debut performance occurred at the annual House party where between pizza and games. the Year12s unveiled the Flash Mob to the rest of the House. Inspired by Zumba. the Flash Mob encapsulates the Hirschfetd motto for 2012. 'Together in Orange'. Building on its success at the House party, the entire House learned the routine during the following House assemblies. Our skills surprised all at Inter house swimming and cross country where every Hirschfetdian showcased her spirit and 'zest' as we blew the competition away with our performance The Hirschfetd family has also come together through pre-exam House relaxation sessions and pancake breakfasts each Term and sports and pop culture quizzes. not to mention our newspaper fashion parade in Term 11. Our vibrant spirit has also inspired a new initiative for House assemblies this year catted 'Photo of the Week'. The crazy, artistic and outrageously orange contributions by girls from all Year levels has added extra flavour to our weekly meetings. and has also revealed Hannah Palmer 111Hl as a
