2012 marked the Year of the Eagle as England House soared to new heights that have never before been reached. Beginning with the Year BS entering the nest. England's flight took off. This enthusiasm continued with our Disney-themed House party. where each Year was given a specific Disney movie and had to perform an entertaining skit for the rest of the House. The Year 125 claimed the prize with their Mulen-inspired skit. Despite the many games. dancing and delicious food. the highlight was definitely seeing more than 100 England girls decked out in their most outrageous blue attire. The afternoon was a great start to what promised to be ajam-packed. exciting year Throughout 2012. every girl contributed to the nest in all House events and gave her all. as shown through the amazing efforts in the swimming carnival. cross country. athletics and choir led by our brilliant Sport Captains Madetine Gleed and Stacey Wecker, and Choir Captains Maddison Da!ta-MCIntosh and Sara King-Koi

As a new initiative this year. the Year 11 girls ran an independent spiders stall on Open Day. The girls displayed great enthusiasm and fantastic energy raising money for our England House charity. The Butterfly Foundation And so flies by another year for England House. As 2012 draws to a ctOSe. our flight must land. While this marks a sad time for us all as the Year12s disembark the plane. it is also a celebration as they begin another journey outside of England House. But as some leave. others must take their place. The Year lis are ready to glide into the position of the mother birds and lead the House as another group of Year 85 climb aboard and England takes off in 2013 As much as we wish we could do it all again for another year. sadly we cannot. However. we will never forget our time in the sky where we flew together as one
