UNITED As A HOUSE, ENGLAND ROSE To THE CHALLENGES FACED IN THE 2011 SCHOOL YEAR. THE YEAR BEGAN WITH GREAT ENTHUSIASM As SENIOR STUDENTS GREETED THEIR YEAR 8 BUDDIES.
This enthusiasm continued as these new England members were welcomed by the rest of the House at the England House Party in Term I. Girls dressed in their most flamboyant blue attire in true England style, partying through an afternoon jam packed with games, pizza and clever skits prepared by each Year level. The girls presented their performances as the House sat back and enjoyed the cleverI and highly entertaining, pieces of England inspired theatre, demonstrating the creative ness and immense enthusiasm of all the girls.
As the year progressed, the true England spirit was revealed at the various Inter house events. Adorned in blue from head to toe, England girls amazed us all with their outstanding athletic abilities as they ran, jumped, swam and hurdled across the finish line. Led by our fabulous Sport Captains, Aisling Jarver and Madeleine Carlisle, England successfully demonstrated true sportsmanship and unity.
