^ .II, 008 was a fantastic year for Lilley House-+ull of fun, festivities and freddos! As the Year 8s effortlessly tled in to become part of Lilley House, the Year made the most of their last year before hopping their Iilley pads and out of the Lilley pond. The Year 9s, 10s and I is were also vital in helping to keep Lilley's strong House spirit alive and hopping! The Lilley year began with the famous House Party, which was packed with green, green and more green! Green costumes, green 1011ies and green cake were the highlight for most, as well as the games, dancing, skits and competitions, which all took place in one fun-filled afternoon. Not only did Lilley House party it also shone in the sporting department! Led by House Sports Captains Elspeth Johnston and Phattramon Sangfai, Inter house Swimming, Cross Country, Volleyball and Athletics proved that we really were Lilley legends-the House showed tremendous spirit and supported each other in every way possible. performed admirably in the Inter house Debating, led by Madeline Bendixon. The Year I is excelled and organised a very successful fudge stall on Open Day, which raised over $1 000 for our nominated House charity, Queensland Surf Lifesaving. Lilley House met every Thursday for House Assembly which provided an excellent opportunity to play some games, discuss House matters and simply relax with our friends. This year would never have been so successful without the dedication, commitment and enthusiasm of each Lillian. The leaders of Lilley appreciated the enormous support received from each of the House Group teachers and of course from Mrs S Edwards who has helped us all greatly throughout the year.
