The Forum was a journey that started in July last year. First we were nominated by our districts' Rotary clubs and then selected from interviews. We attended the National Youth Science Forum in December. This forum provided a very unique and beneficial learning opportunity. We gained a better insight to the areas of tertiary study and career pathways in science and participated in open discussions about what we hoped to achieve in the field of science after we left school. We were also given the opportunity to put forward our own views on the problems of today and tomorrow. Many great friendships developed between students from Australia and overseas, who shared our interes it really was an unforgettable experience.
