>.. The Girls Grammar spirit has shone through as our large ensemble of dancers have auditioned, rehearsed,
Jackson, Madonna, Brir:any Spears, Ricky Martin and Kylie Minogue. A range of dance styles were on show giving the audience variety entertainment Theatre Dancers of 2004 should be congratulated for their constant enthusiasm and dedication to dancing. Well done girls!

A small group of girls once again had the opportunity to perform at the Suncorp Piazza at Southbank as part of the Buddhas Birthday Festival. This was a huge event that attracted hundreds of viewers and proved highly enjoyable for all involved. The Open Day public performance was
a debut performance for many of our 2004 newcomers, and all the girls performed admirably to a full house! The end of year concert was. of course. the Theatre Dance highlight as this is what the years hard work and rehearsals are all for. Interact a Rotarysponsored service club within Brisbane Girls Grammar School which, affiliated with the Rotary Club at Windsoi; provides the opportunity for young students to participate in community service projects and help those less fortunate than themselves. During Semester I . interact centred its fundraising activities around Interpiast, a non-profit organisation that provides free reconstructive surgery for needy children and adults in developing countries Money was raised from selling popcorn and 10/11es at the School interhouse Swimming
marshmallow kebabs dipped in chocolate on Open Day, as well as raffle tickets for a weekend holiday at Fraser Island. On top of having a fantastic time making and selling the kebabs, Interact raised well over $ I 000, which was donated to Medecins Sans Frontieres IDoctors Without Bordersj, an organisation that delivers emergency aid to victims of armed conflict, epidemics, natural and man-made disasters, regardless of race, religion, creed or political affiliation Throughout the year interact also continued its sponsorship of Hendra Secondary College by providing clothing and funds for the young under privileged girls at the School Grammar Interact 2004 was a huge success, all of which would not have been possible if not for the continued support of Mr Brier
