She studied OT at the University of Queensland from 1994-1997, which in- cluded honours. She did her thesis on managing pain in children who suffer from Ieukaeiula. She worked as an OT locum on the Gold Coast, and at present is working as an OT locum in the UK, thus gaining practical experience and Lesley completed her Bachelor of Science degree at the Urnversity in 1967 but at that time, students didn't gradu- ate until April the following year, so she was awarded the medal in 1968. She majored in Biochemistry and Microbi- o10gy, and did her thesis on Microbiol- ogy.
