STOP!
I am a child who trails the silky sash of freedom, Free to dream through the mind's loopholes, Time to Lintavel imagination's skeins Childi. en in decades past knew the cloth of time, Holes plentiful in its open weave, Folds of time, billowing free Backyard games, time elongated, To cloudwatch, dream and Iaze, UninterrLipted, 11nhurried, peace Today's "hyper parents" live by the bible of time, Not a second to be wasted, Life fastened maniacally to the clock Children, tethered by time, Constrained by fabricated reality Pushy parents prise open their Linfolding buds,
There will be a day When time will stop, And birds will cease to fly The clocks will pause, Frozen in time, slop ticking, and die A falling tree, Suspended motionless- Tales that rime forgot Because time could stop for a million years Pause, Then carry on But we'd never know This could be how Santa has time, to deliver all the presents This COLIld be, How God is free, to listen to all the prayers Tliis COLIld be anything- the answers to all oui questions
Persistently prodding, coaxing, goading, Siphoning freedom, draining every drop Children, tethered by time, Constrained by fabricated reality
Time COLIld stop, We'd ITever know, No tell-tale signs would show
