WORK SAMPLING AND INDUSTRY PIACEMENT

W ork Experience is an integral part of the Combined Stud- ies Program during term time and it provides mainstream students with the opportunity to explore the world of work during the holidays. Our Combined Studies girls were involved in a variety of employment experiences, from the Rue de Paris Cafe on Park Road to the Brookfield Veterina1y Clinic, from the Mayfair Crest Hotel to Channel 9. The mainstream girls gave up holi- day time to pursue a diverse range of workplace experiences in such areas as Advertising, Architecture, Veteri- na1y Care, Law and Accountancy. Without exception, the girls re- ceived glowing reports from employ- ers . JAN O'SULLIVAN
