Special mention must also be made of the talents of Carly O'Nei11, who accepted the roie of Stage Manager iust days before the performance, and despite flying almost solo, did an outstanding job backstage, and even managed to assist the, um, Assistant Director with her, r-rm, fairly mysterious duties. Her rise to fame was precipitated by the Churchie Stage Manager becoming il1. Backstage Cassanovas, flashers in great-coats, gaffer tape and telegraph poles - an eye-opening (or should that be vein- opening?) experience was had by all involved in this year's Senior Production, but one which will no doubt be remembered by audience, cast and crew alike for quite a whi1e. Jn May, BGGS and the Anglican Chr-rrch Grammar School Icombined to put on this year's Senior Production. The talented cast and crew were guided capably through this ambitious and diflicult adaptation of Brecht's work with expertise and patience by directors, Mrs Murphy and Churchie's Mrs Dean. The perfcrrmance was the culmination of three months of demanding preparation, but despite the onerous rehearsal schedule, being part of this production has been a rewarding experience lor all involved. By now Grammar audiences are familiar with some of the accomplished actors and musicians involved in 'The Caucasian Chalk Circle'. They have appealed in various incarnations over the years and the professional of the likes of Frankie Mason, Caitlin Hunter and many others continued to dazzle and astound.
