The year 8 and combine 9 & 10 teams will play in term 4 Grammar competitiveness in this difficult competition can be attributed in part to the expertise of our highly qualified coaches. Amongst our coaches, we boast three Brisbane Blazers players - NeridaJeffrey, Tanya Robinson and Nicola Vimams. We also have a former Yugoslav national coach Miltoad Milosavljevic The U18A tealn experienced the Thrill of playing before a crowd (consisting primarily of cheering Grammar girls) in The 'curtain raiser' ITTatclT 10 the Brisbane Blazers and Brisbane Bullets. These matches were enjoyed by players and spectators alike. 11 is hoped that Grammar will continued to sirenothen its ties witll the representative teams Once again, Grammar girls figured in representative teams, will} the selection of Kitsty Dinon, Caithn Clare, fujita Horn and CarolineAstleyin Metropoliiai\ East teams. Caitlin Clare was also selectecl in the U16 Brisbane Blazers. Megan MCGregor was selected in the U16 Colts team The dedication and commitment displayed by all girls involved in the sport this year have been the foundation Lipon which the ftiture success of Grammar Basketball will depend B. W. H. A. HOCKEY continues to be the secret ingredient in the success SIGiy of the QGSSSA Hockey. This year, the Friends of Grammar Hockey registered three teams in this competition, one DivisioiT 6 and two 15 teams. The Division Six team was composed of QGSSSA A, B ancl C Grade players. The 15 teams wei'e litade Lip of some C Grade players and girls who wished to play ITockey for BGGS and were not accommodated in the QGSSSA teams The 15 White and Blue teams were successful minakinoihe semifinals 10 discover they were to play eaclT other. The Blue team won this game to be placed in the preliminaiy finals against Lourdes Hill. On the twenty-seventh of AugList the Blue leanT tied with Lourdes Hill O - O at ftilltime. This is quite an achievement for the two new teams to excel so impressively in the B. W. H.
