In Brisbane, Tashen is a member of both the Duellisis' Fencing Club at Camp Hill and the University of Queensland Fencing Club. Selina Ngo Seventeen of our Year 9 and 10 students this year chose to be involved in the Mathematics challenge for' Young Australians, conducted by The Australian Mathematical Olympiad Committee. Diana Cheng and Genevieve Stewart received Excellence Awards in the initial Challenge stage Megan MCGregor, NICole Goddard and Justine Cameron, have elected 10 go on to the Enrichment stage of the coinpeti- lion, answering 16 challenging questions over 2 months The Mathematical Olympiad Committee invited Sellna Ngo to participate in the Telecoiii Senior Mathematics Contest. Karen Dancer participated in the Intermediate division of the same contest Both students did extremely well: Karen was the top female student in Queensland and Seiina was placed third in the State. As a result of this, SGIina has been asked to participate in the Enrichment stage of this competition YEAR 8 MATHEMATICS QUIZ KIDS
