An open Reunion on 6 November will give old girls an opportunity to inspect the unimagined facilities, both coin- PIGted and planned, of the School, as well as renewing past friendships. A number of privately organized year reunions have been held at the school dunno the past year The support. both in access to information and use of facilities, given by the School staff has made the tasks of the organisers much easier and foi' this they are grateful May I lake this opportunity to thank my committee, Mrs Hancock and Staff of the school groups who have supported the Old Girls' throughout the year and 10 wisli the Year 12 oirls of 1993 every success in their studies and chosen careers. A most enjoyable and successful 20th Reunion was held on Saturday 9th October and Sunday 10th October, for pasi Brisbane Girls' Gi'am mai' School students of years 1969- 1973 The events were attended by 108 women in all. On Saturday afternoon there was a IOUi' of Brisbane Girls' Grammar School, led by present Year I I students. For the majority of people who had not been back 10 the school for 20 years, the changes and developments were asioLinding. This was fol- lowed by afternoon tea in the Staff Centre. Mr A1an Dale, host for the school, was presented with two copies of the Reunion Book whicli compiles stories of the lives of many pasi students over the last 20 years. Women then moved on 10 an infoiTtTal eveniiig function at "Chancellcr o11 the Pal'k", nearby. The evening new by with chatter and laughter as everyone swapped memories, and caught up on the events of tile past 20 yeai's. 11 was wonderful to see so many old friends and pass on messages fronT 1110se who could noi attend On Sunday, about 25 women and their faniilies picnicked in Ihc City Botanical Galdeiis - and enjoyed an oilier chance to calcli Lip on pasl yeai's. Or 112 gills in the 1973 Grade 12 class. 107 wei'e located and contacted. Appi'oximaiely 90 of these attended. inclLided 4 women who came 1'10m overseas.
