JANUARY 30 England House Year Eights arrived for their introduction to friendly helpful Year Twelve seniors. The enthusiastic bunch were informed of their role as England House members in the year ahead FEBRUARY 14 England House Barbecue. House me in bel's enjoyed an outrageously exciting afternoon of games, swimming. pizza and war cry practice for the approaching swimming carnival. With a little encouragement. House spirit was definitely on the way up FEBRUARY 19 Gathering of House members dressed in trendy England Bullies (Bulldogs) T-shirts at the Valley pool for the annual swimming carnival. Enthusiastic cheering heralded double winnei' Katie Hansen (Year Eight) and the Year Eleven medley relay team of Am anda Love. Sarah Robins, Elizabeth Gerber and Susan Maslen MARCH 28 & 29 England's gymnasts tookto the mats or apparatus in lovely leotards for both Artistic and Rhythmic competitions A1nanda Levis, an agile Year Twelve. triumphed on the vault, while the Rhythmic Ball team helped England's overall fourth placement with their routine placed third

AUGUST 3 After many weeks of gruelling rehearsals willI their capable Drama Captain, Susie Burge, the Englandites gave a diverse performance of acting and acrobatics in their play about a circus AUGUST 16 Most recent challenge undertaken by England Bullies, Interhouse Athletics at QEll stadium. Many impressive performances were witnessed by skilful athletes attired in blue. AUGUST 18 School Day! Englandites were surrounded by 250 bags of pastel fairy floss. Ingenious selling techniques solved their small problem and raised $150 for the school. At the time of preparing this report, the Interhouse debating, Senior Public Speaking and Choral competitions have yet to be finalised. Perhaps England's might will be proven in one of these contests Robyn Grice
