THE ACIE ALEXINA GILLIES MEMORIAL PRIZE FOR STRINGED INSTRUMENT Dona ted in 1970 by her sisters, Merna and Valda, past pupils of the school. SZE-WAI OOI
THE R.T. JEFFERIES AND ANNE ETHELREDA JEFFERIES BURSARY This commemorates the first Music Master of the school (1875) and his daughter, an Old Girl of the School and a past Music Mistress, whose gift it is. The bursary is awarded to the "most promising student in the school for the advancement of music".

THE BERYL BLANCH STEEDMAN MEMORIAL PRIZE FOR DRAMA Presented by Mrs. P.H. Bailey in memory of her Aunt
who was a Senior English Mistress at the School. This Prize is awarded to the girl who has done the most outstanding work .in connection with Drama. THE MERLE.WEAVER PRIZE FOR PUBLIC SPEAKING Donated in 1954, by Miss Weaver, a former member of the Staff.

THE CHARLOTTE DE JONCOURT FOLKLORE PRIZE Awarded for the first time in 1986, this prize was endowed by Miss E.L. Marsland. The award is based on a guided reading quiz and an essay. JUNIOR AWARD MERIT PRIZE THE KENDALL BROADBENT MEMORIAL PRIZE FOR BIOLOGY First given in 1941 by Mr. J.E. Broadbent, a member of the Board of Trustees for many years, in memory of his father. It is awarded for the best essay in a Natural History subject.
