fAPANESE DANCTNG Japanese Dancing has had a full year this year beginning with our performance in May at Chandler for the Year 8 Japan Night and again on School Day in June. To balance out the feeling of inactivity after Expo last yeal our usual helper, Mrs Heiser, and Mrs Wakayama, a professional Japanese folk and classical dancer, have taught us two new dances, the Nobeoka Kouta and a Classical Fan Dance. Out first classical dance is proving to be a challenge, but we hope to be dancing it at Warana. Many thanks must go to Mrs W. Campbell and Mrs M. Campbell, Mrs Heiser, Mrs Wakayama and our dedicated dancers. We were delighted to welcome tc our dancing group this term lkuko, Masami, Miho and Mamiko, the four students from our Sister School in Matsusaka. They thought it was rather funny to have to come all the way to Australia to learn Japanese dancing but proved to be enthusiastic learners.
