snow, skiing, and, of course, the instructors. Skiing soon became second nature, once we grew accustomed to the pain, bruises and the smell of Dencorub. Although no one was brave enough to attempt the kamikaze slope, quite a few girls provided themselves with many opportunities for injury. Melanie's suicidal run on Maniac Mountain will go down in skiing history!! At the end of the trip Miss Roden and Miss O'Sullivan remain our resident speed demons. This suits the rest of us who simply enjoyed the many "nature experiences" we had (as Miss Burrows would say). Thanks to everyone who made this year's ski trip sheer purgatory (and heaps of f un l) - A large group of very sore kamikaze skiers.
SKH TRSP re motto for the 1988 SkiTrip would definitely have to : "No Guts, No Clory I" And we had to live up to it f rom e very beginning when our bus driver, RoLr, managed , get lost somewhere between Canberra and our lodge Jindabyne. owever, we finally arrived - to a welcoming party rnsisting of Toowoomba Boys' Crammar boys. After is nice little introduction, the rest of the week was rent fruitlessly trying to avoid a social with them. re entertainment provided by Brumby's Bar - situated ght below our rooms and open until 2 a.m. - was noisy -rt oh so tempting. Unfortunately, we had to be locked our rooms by 9 p.m. uring the day our attention was solely focused on the
