THE OUTSIDER
She stood there in front of us: Pink cheeks grodually turning white,
Fire dying from her defiant eyes. She uos one - we were many. She Luos dift'erent - we similar. While united we could take out the frustrotion Cf our own failings On one not in the group - An outsider. We circled her Like Indians preparing for a dance. The taunts flew guiltlessly through the air. She turned frantically From one hostile face to the other, Deer-like eyes brim ming with tears That teetered on the windou-s ills of her eyes.
"Sook ! Chicken! Cod!" We had no sympothy, We had no guilt, She WOULD do our biddins. We would be safe. For she u/os one - we u)ere mony.
