F'ORWIAN, REFOR.T What begins with "F" and ends with "L" and causes a temperature of 102" in X60 girls for 6 months? No points for guessing: the FOR.M,AL of course. And this year despite protestations that we were more mature than preceding years, the Grade 12's kept the formal fever traditions (all of them) alive and kicking. The venue for this year's function was Wanganui Gardens at Yerongpilly and the balloons, streamers and ail thatOrganza blended beautifully to set the atmosphere for a truly memorable night. We arrived al 7 .00 p.m. and admired each others' clothes, partners and Mr. Kwan, the photographer. Unfortunately Mrs. Hancock was ill and unable to be with us and her absence was felt by all. The food was lovely, the music lively and the dancing too, especially for some (yes, Mr. Dale!). trt seems as though all the parental concern was totally unnecessary, although understandable, but being the excellent group of young wom'en that we are, we all behaved with decorum and grace and still had a good time! .As a Grade EVERYONE looked lovely and enoyed themselves and credit for that has to go to the Formal Committee headed by Megan .trenner, who was ably assisted by Sharon tsailey. Thank you for a night to remernber.
