I AM.... I am the ball on the end of a seal's nose. And when it's
slippery underfoot- Look out! The ball wavers, but carefully, skilfully, the seal rights it again,Mother and father are seals; smooth, sleek seals: And cyclones may blow and tears may flow, yet the seal,s nose is ever underneath the ball: constant; stabilizing; my balance. But then, the seal falls and lies still, does not swim, does not bark, what of the ball then? Quick! Catch it! Witt it fail hard? Wiil I fall hard? Please God, don't let me. Alexandra Henderson
