ROCKHAMPTON REPORT On Friday the 30th May, sixty-six Girls' Grammar students and staff rnanned the TAA f light 2876 and 2877 at 7.45 p.m. On our two Focker joyJlights we had many wonderf ul ex- periences, with some locked in the toilets while others used the excuse of steering the plane in the cockpit to get a closer glimpse of the co-pilot. At touchdown all girls were excited wondering who their billets for the weekend would be. However, the hockey girls were not billeted with families but stayed in the boarding house of Rockhampton Girls' Grammar School, with all having a great time. Saturday morning saw a chartered tour of Rockhampton for the hockey girls and boarders of Rockhampton Girls' Grammar. Meanwhile, the billets and their families also saw the sights of Rockhampton which for many, includ- ed a visit into the city. All teams played successful games on Saturday and feeling jubilant, hit the dance floor that night at Rocky Grammar. We all got down to the 2001 beat and we astounded many with our slick actions as we bopped the night away. On Sunday all teams played again and were victorious. Many went to watch the rowing and then continued to Rocky Grammar where we were given a barbeque Iunch which was enthusiastically accepted. Finally at 6.20 p.m. Girls' Grammar bade farewell to Rockhampton and arrived in Brisbane, all thoroughly enjoying their weekend. Amanda Davidson, 12E & Alison McAdam, 121. M.::
