WATER.POLO REPORT Water-Polo must be the school's most successful sport, with teams f rom B.G.G.S. carrying away every possible trophy in the competition. As well as this we seemed to dominate state teams this season, and SueGordon and Jacki Thomas were selected to represent Australia in Holland. These two and Julie Seale, Linda Saunders and Amanda Leeson represented Queensland in the Open Women's team at the National Championships rn Melbourne. Amanda Leeson, Helen Seale, Anna Holland, Jacki Thomas and Robyn Gordon-Brown were selected for the Under 1B Queensland team that competed in Brisbane in the National Titles. A further six girls went with the Queensland Under 19 team to New Zealand. A good season was had by all this year in every team and we welcomed a lot of new players. The work of all the coaches; Mr. Small, Wayne Enright, Mr. Burns, Sue and Dr. Gordon and many past pupils was greatly ap- preciated - thank-you all. Thanks also to all helpers and players especially Cara Stone who stood like a rock in times of trouble. Amanda Leeson (Captain).
