5l7B lnformal Day. The proceeds from this were gratef ully accepted by the Leukemia Research Foundation. 231 617B Susan Davies presented the school with her
gold medal won at the Paraplegic Games. lt was good that Leigh Hillman (6th Form '77), was able to witness the presentation, as it was under her guidance that the school was able to assist Sue in achievinq her aim.
7178 lnterform Athletics - Churchie. 717B The Hirayama students arrived from Japan to tour Australia and were billeted by various girls. There was an informal Bar-Be-Cue at Mrs. Hancock's home for them. B|TB The Hirayama students gave an extremely interesting display of various aspects of Japanese culture. They presented the school with some beautiful kinds of swords and costumes, and tea ce'remony im- plements.

7l7B Lunchtime Concert organised by 5C to raise money for their form project. 7l7B Jo Drust, our American Exchange Student, left for home. 717B Bastille Day was marked by a French assembly which cheered many a French heart, and generally excited the whole school. 717B Fifth Form Camp at Alexandra Headlands, the spirit of which was tremendous. Fifth formers, staff and everyone else who attend- ed the camp were all 'caught up' in the f riendly, relaxed atmosphere.
