The first day back at school for 2nd form and 5th form as well as Prefects and Class Seniors. No secrets were kept f rom the 2nd form as the Prefects and Class Seniors sang and danced their way through an informative and entertaining afternoon.

3l7B Carolyn Somerville and Gale Tyson were our entrants in the Quota Student of the Year Quest for the Nundah-Clayfield Club. lt was an experience which both girls will remember and benefit from in the future. Gale went on to the finals on April 15th; it was a nerve-racking experience but Gale will be the first to agree it was all worthwhile. 3l7B Sandie Wilson and Mandy Boustead put smiles on many elderly faces with their Easter egg delivery. 3178 Under the guidance of Sue Chalk, the Seniors began the mammoth task of painting the Science Block toilets. After several working bees and much painting of people, not to mention the walls, they were finally opened on July 4th by Mr. Gerhmann, an event which was witnessed by many a toilet connoisseur.

2l7B The Prefects and Class Seniors made their pledge to the school, and the school made a similar one to them. These pledges express- ed our aims and ideals and we hope they have been in some way fulfilled. 2l7B The S.R.C. assembly. We were entertained with songs and sketches by the S.R.C. which led to a greater knowledge and appreciation of this body. lnterform Swimming l.S.C.F. conducted an assembly. As a result the school is a little more aware of, and has greater insight into, this group and its ac- tivities. 3178 A 4BC Cut-L.unch Concert was held for the S.R.C. Sue Gordon's hat will never be the same. 3l7B G.P.S. Swimming. We were second to State H igh. 3l7B The S.R.C.'s dance in the gym; an in- teresting experience which spread to E3.

The Easter Service was held in St. John's Cathedral. Miss Hebden's choir and Mrs. Papas' ballet students helped to create a beautiful Easter atmosphere. Terumi Takahashi stepped off the plane and said: "How ya goin', mate". Cottage lndustry Day Fiist Term Sports Dinner 29
