MUSICAL REPORT Following the success of last years E.E.A. production oi the 'Boyfriend" this year we attempted a rather different style oi work - 'The Pirates of Penzance' We had about six months of preparation which extended from lhe Thursday afternoon E.E A. time slot to all day Sunday rehearsals. Since lhis operelta relies mainly on singing for the story to be understood, we con- centrated on lhis aspeit tor the early days of our rehersal. Then we reached lhe production stage until finally a 'rollicking band ol Pirates'could be seen - rather different from the notr mal Grammar Girls !
