at the competition. Mrs. Martin was an incredible asset to all girls who were not familiar with aclvanced gym work and spent hours in the school _uym, experiencing headaches, backaches, and a luugh c'vcry now and then! Thc "D" team claimed second place on April 3Oth at rhe coTp_etition, putring up a strong fight against Stare High, who, in the erid, claimjA tle first place pennant. The performances of the ,,C" tcam were "terrific". Jenny, Jane and Mardi competed in this level and were finallv olaced third. Well done "B"l Clayfield Colleee s6emed to be thc biggest rival for "A" and ,.B""teams but Grammar won both levels, and didn't even realize it! ApparatLrs scores were very close, in- clividLrally, but as a team, B.G.G.S. cime out on top. All teams made -fabulous team mates, and were fun to work with. lt wasn't the ,,wishin"' that did it- it was the "workin"', so keep it up in'75t Sheralyn Miller School Gym Captain

The enthusiam aroused tlirougfiout hours of training prior to the competition aird at the competition was fabulous and efforts were well rewarded. _ ..schoo-l spirit aided tremendously. prefects, 6th, 5th and other forms were true ,oblue,, schooi supporters, cheering us on. The sports mistresses involved themselves by spending- precious time working with the teams, out of sch6ol hours, and
