-Kongoroos, -Koo[ut, Srrfing on{ e4trorigines Before coming here as an AFS student, these are the four words I generally associated with Australia. Now that I've lived in Austra[a for a year. I am able to describe it much more accurately. The word which I think does best to describe my opinion of Australia is beautiful. During my stay in Brisbane. I sqw beauty everyday: People helping me, guiding me, befriending me, saying G'day to me, and getting me over my spells -of -homesickness. This year has been the hippiest one of my life, and all because of the kindness of the Australian people. I'd like to thank everyone for making my memories of Australia as beautiful as they are. Thank You.

It hits the innocent- Like a black mist Mingling with their activities Until their very souls Ache with pain, longing and fear. It seems impossible then But-as the living must live They too return to W But always tapping at their minds A memory of the lost.
