Susan Byth (Goal Defence ) : Playing this position for the first time, Susan played a very good game. Sometimes she tended to crowd the attacking players when playing too far down court. \fith her height, her ability to iump in defence was most valuable. Her ball- han,{ling was always sound. Margaret Marciott ( Goal Keeper ) : Margaret played a sound determined game this year. Her defence was good but she wants to learn to pass to the wings and centre rather than her co-defence, _ r.w. Judith Ward (Goal Attack) : Judith proved a most reliable captain in organizing practices and encour aging players to always give of their best. Her ballhandling, and general court play were sound, due mainly to her thorough knowledge of the game. 7-6-69 B.G.G.S. v. Somerville House, 34-25. 2l-6-69 B.G.G.S. v. (Goal Shooter) : -Julie's goaling on the wFrole was good but her movements on the court need to be quicker. I on Hutchison ( Wing Attack ) : Iqn must learn to think more quickly in changing from defence to attack. Her throwing at times was a bit wild, but her general play was quite good. Ratb Nielson ( Centre ) : Ruth staying back in the centre court played a good combination game between the defence and attacking players. Her quick attacking movernents made pp for her lack of height. Her ball- handling, laowever, was slightly inconsistent. Susan Rutter ( Wing Defence) : Susan's ball- handling was also not very consistent and her concentration tended to lapse. Silhen she made up her mind, though, her movements were quick and her game was quite good.
